Army Desert
What paints should I use for a desert like space marine army?
I’m making a new Warhammer 40k army, the space marine but I want to make my own chapter. I was going to do a chapter which specialized in desert warfare, this would mean that their amour would be of a desert colour. I was going for something that would make an army be able to camouflage in the desert like Tau Fire Warrior but not as orangey.
So do anyone know what kind of paints I should use for this chapter? All I really need is to know the base colour, main colour and the highlight colour.
For a model look at desert camouflage. I’d suggest a light brown, a dark tan, and if you must very light with a dull burnt orange. Shiny things can be detected now, so avoid any high gloss.
One good thing about camouflage, if you screw up, well, so. Who says it wasn’t supposed to be like that?
