Blue Star

Blue Star
Which is a difference between a red star and blue star?

I think it is: The blue star’s emissions peak at shorter wavelengths. ‘m not sure but could use some confirmation. Thanks

Shorter wavelengths does mean greater energy photons. Blue light is more energetic than red light and so blue means hot and red means cold. For mainsequence stars it means blue stars are more massive than red stars. But a red supergiant can also be a blue star that has evolved off the mainsequence. All stars become red giants/supergiants as they age.
