Blue Uniform
Are the Atlanta Braves going to use that ugly blue uniform the entire season?
I hope not but nothing would surprise me…I mean, it the team store gets to sell one more $165 jersey, right?
At first I thought the Nats were playing the Padres….then I thought the Braves had come out in their batting practice gear…
These are the Braves, after all…not the Rangers or the Royals…I would think their tremendous winning record over the last decade would be enough to market their stuff.
All in all I was very disappointed because it was the Braves who really kicked off the return to “old school” unis when they ditched the powder-blue “softball” outfits in the early ’90s. It seems like teams are starting to go back to the gaudy colored pullovers rather than the classic button-downs.
Can the Astros “rainbow” or White Sox “short pants” be making a comeback soon…?
