A Good Book On WWII? Something That’s Not Mind Numbingly Detalied?
I’m looking for a good book on WWII. I’m by no means a history buff and don’t know that much about the second world war. Knowing this I need a book that’s simple, relevant, not overly complicated or loaded down with unnecessary detail. I’m looking for something that explains the war but does not seek to define every single battle and every single character in mind numbing detail. Any suggestions?
Hiroshima by John Hersey is good.
