Cuff Title
I have the plot of the book…just not the title (YA/JV Fiction)?
I remember reading a fiction book in the 6th grade many moons ago in which the plot centered around an extremely bright student in Elementary school who would often find schemes and ways to make money. When the class would go on field trips, he would often diverge from them and attract attention in order to proceed to make money… I remember that the class went to the park or something- and he bought a whole bunch of race cars and collected money from people placing bets as to which car won. I also remember he was being tracked down by the Feds, and at the end of the book was arrested (or something) and swallowed the key to his cuffs (or of the like). This is the best I can do. If someone can help me, it will be a big deal. Thanks in advance.
I’m positive it’s not Harry Potter, I was in 6th grade before that book came out.
