Does the US army only have the Universal Camouflage Pattern or…?

do they also desert pattern? and why?

The Army only uses the ACU ditigal pattern now. The BDUs and DCUs were retired in 2007 but the Navy and Air Force are still using it (although they are phasing it out as well). Some of the excess was given to other countries.
