Digital Desert

Would this be a good deer rifle?

Im looking at getting a Remington 700 VTR Desert Digital in 308win. Would this caliber be good for deer? How is it compared to a 30.06?

It would be fine for deer, the rifle and the caliber. .308 is just a smidge less powerful than 30/06, but the deer will not notice the difference.

Comb the desert! (digital quality)
