How do you become an Air Force Firefighter?
I just wanted to know exactly how you become a firefighter in the Air Force and the steps to becoming one. I am currently working towards my AA degree and is interested in joining the Air Force to become a firefighter. I also want to know if you can earn your BA degree while in the Air Force.
There is no way to guarantee you will be a fire fighter in the Air Force.
It is one of the smallest AFSC’s in the Air Force, so they just don’t need many new people each year.
So when your at MEPS, you can list it as one of your 5 job choices,
But chances are, you will NOT get that AFSC.
Forget the advise of telling your recruiter,
Recruiters in the Air Force have NOTHING to do with job selection.
