How to shrink a too large jacket?

i just bought a jacket that a really wanted but it was a 2 sizes too big for me. Are there any washing machine tricks that i can do to shrink it fast??

Last year i also bought a jacket that was quite big for me, so what i did to shrink it down was i washed it in COLD water and then dried it in HOT.
