Marine Corp

What does the Marine Corp symbolize to you?

I must design a coin for the nonprofit organization QGCA (quantico government contracting administration). They deal with the area surrounding the Marine Corp base Quantico in Virginia. I need to design a coin and need help deciding appropriate symbols on each side of the coin. Please help me decide what to write on the coin if you can as well.

Family, strength, patriotism.

However, i do not believe that a Marine can be accurately described like that… They are much more than any word can describe.
