Marines Military
What’s the difference b/n the navy, the marines, the military, the air force?
also if anyone can tell me in detail what ‘the military’ is like? What do they have to do? How come some get shipped to war and some don’t? Why do they ship them to random places like hawaii? Anyone that can answer all these questions in detail w/o getting too long and messy, i will really appreciate your help!
Navy are on boats, the Marines are the Naval Infantry, they are an amphibious assault force. The military is a general term to describe any of the five branches, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard. The Air force controls the sky and space.
Military experience differ from where you are stationed, what branch you are in, what unit you are in, what job you have etc. No one can tell you what its like because everyones experience is different.
Deployments are based on unit and when you are tasked to go. Some units are non-deployable so they dont go. But its basically a big rotation. My unit got back in february and were going again next year.
Hawaii is a standard post, we have posts all over the world in a lot of countries and most every state.
