Military Hat

How would you remove a stain out of a white, military based, hat?

Don’t say Bleach, cause I’ve already tried that. The stain is like a dark soot like substance that came off of a car. I don’t know what it is, but it’s a pain in the butt.

if you mean a white hat such as a navy dixie cup, we usually just buy a new one since they are less than 7 bucks…
