My boyfriend is joining the air force and is thinking about going into a military police position. info?
My boyfriend is in the air force and is concidering going into a military police job. can someone who has done this give me some info on exactly what the duties of one are and what the lifestyle is like for them and their families? please help we are so lost and the recruiters are no help!
In the AF it’s called Security Forces. When he is not deployed, he will be guarding stuuf at an AF base, working long hours, and will probably be very bored with his job.
When deployed, he will be guarding bases, and he also might do patrols and go on convoys. AF Security Forces are beginning to do more work outside of bases when deployed, which means more danger.
You should tell him to look into the Air Force TACP, it might interest him more than Security Forces.
