Are you an OEF/OIF veteran? Does a veterans hospital window display of sand and a toy humvee offend you?

I work at a Veterans Hospital and am setting up a window display offering health services. I plan to put a humvee on top of some sand as part of the display. Is this scene offensive to OEF/OIF veterans?

Why would this be offensive? It is one of the main pictures many gather when they think of OIF and OEF. Although not much sand in and around Baghdad, or many places in Afghanistan, but is how the American public sees us, and is a sign of respect and commemoration.
