How much effect will ‘Cap and Trade’ really do to effect climate change?
Or will it just be another government program that hampers recovery, costs jobs in small businesses, drives more jobs and companies overseas, AND drive energy cost up on individuals?
Cap and Trade didn’t work in Europe. What makes liberals think it will work here?
You’re right in saying that Cap and Trade didn’t work in Europe, and it would not work in the U.S. either. In fact, Cap and Trade is an ineffective way of addressing the problems associated with global warming. If countries around the world were really serious about slowing down the process of global warming, they would take a more dramatic, yet effective measure like raising gasoline taxes. But the problem with this approach is that it could negatively affect the economic recovery.
