Full Seat or Knee Patch Breeches?

I was told a while ago that for hunters, full seat breeches are illegal. Is this true? I would be doing flat hunters (hus, hseq, hh, hp). If so, where can I find some inexpensive size 16 tan knee path breeches?

i don’t know if its illegal but its not proper etiquette for hunters. if you are riding hunters then stick to whats appropriate (plus full seat are more expensive). why give the judge a reason not to pin you? wear tan, knee patch breeches. any horse catalog or tack shop will carry them. try dover or bevels.
