World World II medal and patch identification?
Ok I have a knife question coming up soon from wwII, but for right now I got two medals that look like their in german. One has black and red fabric, the medal says EINREICH EIN FUHRER EIN VOLK in middle 1 Oktober 1938, other is a purple blue cross like medal with a swatskitka in the middle it says Der Deutschen Mutter i believe…. 16 December 1938. If anyone wants to see pics i can send… THE first medal has what looks like two people running with a flag.
Roswell; I came into possession of them through my grandfather who was in WWII, he recently died and we came across an ammunition box, inside were four knifes, patches from natzi unforms, medals and what looks like german money. Your first medal with the Black & Red Fabric is a third reich occupation of Czechoslovakia medal.
The other is a nazi “Mutters Kreuz” – Mothers Cross given upon the birth of a child.
Keep these items and remember your Grandfathers Service in WW2 fighting against the nazis, may he Rest In Peace.
