Photo Signal
In reference to the Photo enforced intersections, how can I?
How can I start a petition/referendum stating that if an intersection has a photo enforcement that it must have a Walk/Dont Walk sign that does the countdown before the light turns yellow?
I know that the cameras are good in theory but like others I either speed to get through because I don’t know how long I have, or I have to slam on my breaks (which I, but a couple people have gotten into accidents doing so).
I think they should make all the Don’t walk signals at these have the countdown so you know how long you have.
Chicago resident, btw.
The law says on yellow you must prepare to stop. It’s not a ’speed up and get through’ sign.
