Pocket Knife

is pocket knife considered weapon and subject to seizure at the border?

if you cross international US Canada border,do border guards have authority seizing your pocket knife as weapon?I m going to US in couple of days by bus.Appreciate any shared experience!

I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Over here, we cross into Quebec quite often and have been searched only once. The only thing that got confiscated was a radar detector. I wouldn’t have it clipped into your pocket but just carrying a knife isn’t illegal. How old are you though? If you are like 16 it shouldn’t be a problem. Assuming this is an average pocket knife, not some giant folding knife.
