How to pose subjects for a basic portrait photo shoot?
i’m looking to to trying some new poses any place i can gain some logical insight on this subject.
i want to take head shots, 1/2 body shots, and Full body shots.
is there a web site (cheap is best) and i don’t really want to see the free sites as they are for the most part the same.
i’m taking a class this fall but really want to get ahead of the game!
and learn the ropes so i can ace the class. i’m a slower learner then most so i need all i can get!
For head shots there are basically three recognized positions of the human face, full face, 3/4 and profile. The body is best starting out with the t formation of the feet and the body at a slight angle from the camera. Another interesting thing to learn is the s curve. I am not sure what type of web site you are asking for here, but this along with lighting techniques are what you will need.
