what are the limitations of security police officers at hospitals?
I wish to know the true decription of a security police officer at hospitals in Alabama.
Well there are two different questions. I would say if a security officer was working at a hospital, then it would depend on the rules and policies of the hospital on what they wanted them to do, and not to do.
The other answer would depend on law in Alabama I guess. State law may give them more power than other states.
Generally they only have the power of a normal citizen.
Again if they are working then they do have more power.
For example if they are working then they can tell a person not to enter a room. This is because the hospital which is private property has the right to tell people where not to go, and the security guard is acting as an agent for the hospital.
