Squadron Patch

Does anyone know any facts regarding a story about a massacre in Kunsan, Korea of American airmen?
I heard this story from some airmen about some mechanics being captured and hung from the hangar with safety wire. Supposedly they were left to die by their own squadron which is now known as the chicken squadron with a chicken on their patch. I think this happened around 1952-53? Anything you know may help shed some light. Thanks
