Stripper Clips

How to I fix my SKS? It jammed and didn’t eject the shell, and I can’t get the clip out , what do I do?
I recently traded at a pawn shop for the SKS, it has an after market folding stock with pistol grip, and a detachable clip. I loaded 5 winchester 7.62 rounds, the first shell jammed in the bolt while being ejected. The next shot fired but the shell was never ejected. I pulled the trigger, nothing. The bolt won’t pull back to eject the shell, and the magazine won’t remove. So I don’t know if there is a live round in the gun. I don’t know how to get the bolt back open. Please I really like this rifle I need answers. I already shot the gun 2 days ago and it did the same thing but after about 10 cheap rounds. The guy at the pawn shop said he had his gunsmith look at it and he said it was either the rounds or the magazine, so I used Winchester rounds this time, but is it the magazine or the gun? I know they origanlly take stripper clips that feed from the top.
The magazine will not eject until the bolt is open, the gun is not designed to have a detachable mag
Sounds like you have a dirty gas chamber, a common failing
There are two ways to unjam it
They sound wrong but they are right and one is actually the way the Russian were trained to do it in the field
First and safest way
Try to open the bolt by jamming it into a 2×4 or tree trunk with enough force to open the bolt
The other way takes more coordination and can be dangerous if not done correctly
Can is actually an understatement it will be dangerous if not performed correctly and possibly deadly
Place the rifle with the butt on the ground with the to side towards you
Kinda like parade Rest but with the rifle in front of you
The muzzle canted away from you at about 30 degrees
Raise your foot and bring it down with great force on the bolt handle
SKSs have a habit of slam firing sometimes
If this happens and you have not canted the rifle away from you you will probably be shot in the head
I used to have a video of this being done to an AK
If done properly it is safe and efficient
It might be better if you just shove it into a tree the first time
.223 & 5.56 stripper clips and speed loader
