It may be worth quite a bit, or it could be useless. Here’s how to tell: Is it in good condition? Are the figures on the coin easy to see without any aid? Is it even real (you’d be suprised how many good coins are faked)? If it is real and good, it could fetch 200 dollars. Of course, most shops will but it for less, but you could trick them by finding out its metal content. If there is more pure metal (like iron and copper) than mixed metals (like the ones modern coins are made of) it would be worth considerably more.
