what is a size us9 in east german sizes?

I am a us size 9 and I need to find what that size is in east german sizes

East German? I hope you know that there is only one Germany. Since 1989 there is no East and West anymore… Or did I get something wrong in your question?
The us size 9 is in Germany (and in whole Europe I think) 42.
