MY computer does not have sound when playing DVD films can anyone help?

I have sound when listening to music or playing a film that I’ve downloaded but not when I just put a DVD ino the PC and press play.

Maybe you don’t have the correct codec to play it (I’m assuming you use Windows Media Player). Try VLC just to see if that solves your problem.
