Patch Insignia

Unknown army insignia?

I found these two army insignia in my house that belonged to my dad when he was in vietnam, One is a black bar (like a 2nd Lt but black instead of gold). There’s specialist and sergeant patches in the box i found this stuff in so i don’t think it could be 2nd Lt.

Also theres a rectangle pin with a gold outline also a blue fabric of some kind with 2 little pins on it. The little pins look like grenades or maybe leaves I can’t tell.

Black bar – subdued first lieutenant insignia of rank.
