I cannot believe the rhetoric I here from my ‘idiot tube’ anymore. Redistribution, socialized health care, bailouts…what happened to ingenuity? What has happened to the entrepenurial spirit? I personaly believe it is still there, I just believe it needs to be nudged a bit. I also believe, and I am pulling no punches here, I also believe we are becoming a society of lazy, whiney children, looking for the free handout!
My grandfather worked at a truck stop his whole life. From Iwo Jima, to a truck stop. He never had the OPPORTUNITY that we have today. We literally have the world at our fingertips! Our FINGERTIPS! We have the internet. Of the many things I learned from my grandfather, the most important was seizing opportunity and hard work. Online shopping and businesses are booming constantly. Where are you in all this? Yes, most can be scams, and just simply too hard for the average individual to handle. So many programs to learn, HTML and marketing. But, with just a little effort, hard work, and common sense, you like me, can do it too!
Humans can do amazing things given the opportunity. You must first understand that you will have to work and learn, you will have to “seize” the opportunity. Seize means there is action on our part. We must do the work. Now what if that work was part time? You do not have to be perfect, you do not have to get everyone in the known world to join your business, you only need the right people. That takes work, that takes seizing the opportunity.
My family and I are seizing our opportunity. We are doing the work. We will not stand by and wait for this “Democracy” to hand us their version of “we are smarter than you, we will take care of you” lies. I live in America, I am fortunate and I am blessed to be here. I have that spirit of ingenuity, the power of imagination to work for what I want my family to be and have…a life, a free life.
So why do you sit there? Why are you not moving? Averages are you will probably make it with your own business! There are of thousands of people every eight seconds starting their very own business online. And thousands more in these economic times are looking for something…anything!
Those who look for the government to save them will fall, this is a fact from history. Those who sought out opportunity and used that gift of ingenuity created things our forefathers never could have imagined, but tried through our constitution. “Do not ask what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” We can bring our money back through the ingenuity of the entreprenurial spirit we as Americans have always held, something we hold close like the words our forefathers have written.
