Can I wear the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal?

I participated in Operation Desert Spring Sept.02 to Mar.03. Then I crossed the border with 3rd. ID for OIF. Wanted to know If I could wear one or both of these ribbons.

No you can not. However you do have a choice of medals but you have to have you deployment order from the commander to request it with PSB.

You can only wear on medal for a single tour. If you only went to say “Iraq” one time, then you can choose to wear 1 of 3 medals; GWTEM, AFEM, or Iraq Campaign Medal. If you go a second time, then simply choose a different medal next time and then you will have 2.
