My MW2 restarted all the special ops and campaign on my PS3.?

My MW2 restarted all the special ops and campaign on my PS3. I needed 1 more special op for the platinum trophy but now i need to start again. Can I get my old information back? If I can’t why did it happen so I can stop it happening again? Thanks.

if you had an xbox then you can retrieve it all but you don’t so nope no way you can i’m afraid same thing happened to me with my old ps3 but traded it in for an xbox which i find is much better
