What ‘pet peeve’ would you change:
I would get rid of the beret and go back to the patrol cap (maybe keep the beret for Class A’s.
Get rid of the requirement that everybody sing the ‘Army Song.’ (Most soldiers could not carry a tune with a forklift.)
Move the rank insignia on the ACUs back to the collars (thus avoiding many ‘sexual harrassmant’ complaints caused by soldiers trying to see what her rank is.)
Ban completely the subdued version of the 1st Infantry Division patch.
Make the Stetson authorized headgear for any soldier performing a ‘cavalry’ mission.
Well those are my personal ‘pet peeves’ – what are yours?
get rid of the beret for every one, or give them the lame khaki one and let the rangers have their black beret back.
