Patch Helicopter
i have a lawn boy lawn mower that will start great but doesn’t gas up a lot?
i found it in the trash so i don’t know how it originally ran but here goes nothing. It will starter bye using a make shift drill electric starter because the original one is cracked. when it starts it idles with the occasional pump of extra gas. when i go over the gras it start adding power and when it goes over a thick patch it starts purring like a helicopter ready for take off. almost all parts are new or clean (spark plug, air filter..) it starter running better since i thinned out the fuel ( less smoke and more speed). To me ( i know this will sound strange but think for a second and bare with me) it seems kind of like new cars that are designed to save fuel by switching of cylinders when they aren’t necessary. well this thing doesn’t put out any power unless necessary to keep her running
its running better under a load because the carb needle is set too rich. warm it up, then turn the mixture screw in a little until you get max. RPM’s. lawn boy 2 cycles are the best mowers ever made.
