Will a Soviet Hat be offensive?

I am thinking about buying a hat that is really cool. Its called an ushanka. Anyway… it has a Soviet Union star with the sickle and hammer. Its really cool but I’m afraid that people will be offended.

I’m sure if you move to Red Square they wouldn’t mind. And yes, people will be offended.
